Hello everyone,

I am thrilled to share that I have been invited as a keynote speaker at the event “Transitioning from Campus Life to Successful Corporate Life: Insights from Alumni,” organized by my alma mater, Amity University. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Garima Srivastava and Dr. Sheenu Rizvi, the Assistant Professors and Coordinators of the Alumni Association, for this opportunity.

Reflecting on my journey brings back vivid memories of my days as a M.Tech student in Computer Science at Amity University. It was during this time that I developed a deep-rooted interest in cloud technology. Back then, when cloud adoption was still in its infancy in India, I was already fascinated by its vast potential.

I was the student who would spend long hours in the college lab, tinkering and experimenting. The lab assistant and I became well acquainted as I strived to learn more, driven by a passion for the cloud. I remember creating my own cloud environment in the lab, using Open Nebula, VMware, and OpenStack, a testament to the practical hands-on approach I had adopted from the beginning.

This fervor for learning was complemented by my deep respect for my gurus, who imparted not only academic knowledge but also crucial life lessons. They instilled in me the importance of continuous learning, a principle I have followed religiously in my professional life.

My passion for cloud technology didn’t stop at the gates of the university. I carried it with me into the corporate world, from my first job as a System Administrator at Multisoft Systems Pvt. Ltd., to my current role as Manager — Technology at Deloitte.

I’ve been fortunate to have had a career that allowed me to specialize in the field I love — DevOps, DevSecOps, and Cloud Architecture. The journey was filled with challenges and successes, each one a stepping stone to professional growth and personal evolution.

Beyond my corporate roles, I’ve also been an active trainer, blogger, YouTuber, and cloud knowledge-sharing enthusiast. Teaching others has allowed me to give back to the community and stay updated with the latest technology trends.

Certifications have played a pivotal role in my journey. They have not only enhanced my credibility but also opened new doors of opportunities in my career. I am also proud to have been an AWS APN Ambassador and to have had my DevOps blog acknowledged by Mr. Jeff Barr.

As I prepare to share my experiences at Amity University, I look forward to inspiring students to follow their passion, embrace practical learning, and respect their gurus. I am eager to give them a glimpse into the transition from campus to corporate life and offer practical tips to make this transition smoother.

Please join us on July 15, 2023, at 2 PM IST for this insightful event.

Until then, keep learning, keep growing!
